Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Manitowoc M2250 in Bigge livery. I like the colors. You don't see too many blue and white combos. If i were a little braver, I would attempt a re-paint. (I wish I could afford the CCM 2250 model).

Favorite all-around crane - the ubiquitous 3900T.

Some of the new readers may think that is a photo of the real thing. It's actually a scratchbuilt model. Really. Cool

One of the greatest cranes in the world, period - the former Schmidbauer/Gottwald AK 850.

CC8800 Twin

Though I think the 1750 is a more aesthetically pleasing crawler...

Any ringer.

Hi all,
Favourite real crane, LTR 1100. Just looks the best combination of quick rigging and mobility on site.
And I've built one in 1:14.5.

Then the LTM1500. Just a big mobile.

And last but not least the new LTR 11200, but that's on test and not in operation on any sites yet.

LTR 1100 in 1:14 scale.
Cranes and trucks.
Any thing with a big engine & big tyres.......

Love'm all.

Hey ulf, that 39T sure looks familiar, LOL.

plumber, Not sure if you know or not, but what they are doing there is setting HRSG units. A while back I posted pics of myself running a 4100 ringer doing the same thing, although we charged them from the side. I wouldn't have liked taking 156 tons up that high with a friction rig.

My favorite has to be the Gottwald AMK1000. When it was built, it was easily the biggest of its kind.

It has taken Liebherr and Demag 25 years to big one that could lift as much.

Your model is a better representation of the 3900T than the real thing! Cool
