After a long wait since it first appeared at the nuremburg toy show, I finally got my hands on this model today in the felbermayr livery. I have to say that anyone who ordered this will not be dissappointed, its a beautiful model... heres a few pics to keep ye going for a little while until its assembled!! First off, the very big and very heavy box. The three trays containing the parts. A few pics of the carrier getting set up. And last one for now, the ac200 arrives to assist... More to follow later, enjoy. Noel.

Thanks for this Noel. I have not got this but keep wondering about it! Having spoken with someone and compared it to these pictures, it is not bad in terms of accuracy. A few extra decals and a splash of paint (not to mention the YCC detail kit) and I think it will make a good model a great one Looking forward to seeing pictures of the upper structure for a true comparison Paul R

I ordered mine this morning.
great model, but its a Conrad "base model", needs a bit of detailing as Paul said.
So I expect I `ll have pay pay half as much again for the detail kits.

Hey lads, thanks for the replys. Paul, I wondered about this model for awhile too but then couldn't get it out of my head so i had to get it!! You may find yourself doing the same! As far as detail goes, its not as detailed as a lot of the models appearing now from other manufacturers but you have to hand it to conrad in terms of engineering and quality. Every part feels very solid and is extremely well made, you dont have that anxious feeling about handling it like you get with some other more detailed models. But your all correct, a few extra touches here and there and maybe a YCC kit and this really could be a top class model. Gus, no problem about the delivery. Still no sign of the other box, did you hear anything? MammoetMan, i dont have a fermentation tank but i'll find something to lift anyway! Noel.

Happy days is right gus, enjoy assembling (and reeving) the big girl! My second box hasn't arrived yet but cant be too far away now if you got yours. Your right there, you cant beat the German quality and engineering! Mine is almost finished now, a bit more reeving to do and i'll post some finished pics. Noel.

Yes paul your spot on, the LR is on the way too! I couldn't resist either one so ended up getting both. My LR and Gus's LG are being shipped together, we're gonna set up a felbermayr depot here in waterford, it'll be up and running for when the economy eventually levels out again!!

Looking good, i'm waiting on mine, can't wait to get it. I've got the AC200 in Felbermayr ready to put the big rig together.
LG1750 is my farvorite 'modern' crane....its falls in behind the big Gottwalds as my all time favorite but its still pretty high up.
