i saw this in person at the end of may, absolutly amazing. im from hawaii and dont get to see this kind of work being done i was speachless. i was more interested in the bridge then the dam, although the hover dam is a sight to see, lots of concrete and an amazing man made structure.

SAFE ALWAYS

Can you imagine if they were a couple of feet left and right of each other? I am sure that could not happen as they have been laser siting those two pieces every single inch of the way. That is so cool! Do they still have the live web cams up and operating

Thanks for the pictures!!

Bryce, did you happen to catch any of the action on the Arizona side approach road? The company I was with this past year is doing the roadway to the bridge, maybe get some shots if you're ever that way.I saw the bridge last november and plan on going by this november again. Thanks for the cool pics.

Jason,

I am not sure now... It was going to be around this time, but with the collapse of the first cable-way crane system, it pushed the completion date about two years.. They are moving quickly though. Bryce

Its nice...

but IMO nothing will ever top that massive bridge in France.....

Still a very impressive structure

Do they pour and then move the former or are they in sections?

Amazing pictures, and there must be some big forces at work with all that concrete and wires.

I almost faint at the thought of just standing up there nevermind working!.
