So I've been researching as to what to get as my first mobile crane and everyone just seems to rave about the AC200. I was kind of hesitant since it's been released for a few years now. However the new 2009 updated release of AC200-1 in new liveries caught my eye, so I ordered one in the eye catching Prangle scheme. I now see why 200 is such a popular crane, nice detail and paint and all that diamond plating! The only issues I have is that the first boom section (inside the outermost boom) doesn't lock in place in the outer boom and the whole boom assembly slides out, no biggie I just have to make sure to wiggle it till it clicks. Otherwise I really like this crane. Hey, how come nobody warned me how heavy this thing is Teeth .

Nice detail everywhere you look

That boom is really long

I don't think the tracked guys will welcome the funny looking crane with black round things underneat in the display case!, R-L ; Essex 4100W, M555, HS855, LTR1100

Ha! IMO the AC200 is a sweet crane and a great value pound for pound! I have and will always say that it is a great first crane. Its big, its tall and does weigh in. Add in that it can be had in 13 liveries and its a great choice and a good deal!
