Hello, some more pics, some more work along the same stretch of new unopened interstate. It also shows work from other portions of the sites. A new site where paving and prepwork is being prepared Crews set up a silt fence to keep in the dirt. But having to wait for a lowboy to arrive with conveyor

Antho, Cat345bl Crane dude Thanks a lot WC.... I dunno about ulf's backdrop. It looks as though it may be photoshopped but i can't speak on his behalf. Me i just generated it on the computer and pieced it together. Thanks for all your compliments

I used a refinery backdrop for some of the early dios......but as Jason points out, you are limited on camera angles. On the plus side, the backdrop is easier and faster to shoot since it is part of the scene. PhotoShopping obviously allows a variety of scenes and angles, but can be pretty darn time-consuming. You still must match the camera angles with your new background AND get a seamless transition between the two images. And I have yet to shoot a good scene with the 1750 because of lighting issues and the difficulty of isolating the crane's lattice boom so it appears natural in front of an imported landscape. I may just punt and shoot it outdoors - free lighting AND scenery!
