Here is the Mammoet Beast. Are there parts from existing models available to build this truck? If so, what are they. Wouldn't be a bad project for Chuck and his Sword crew.

This might work:

It's the new Tatra 8x4 (or 8x8 ?) tipper truck from Tekno, and it's in 1/43rd scale.

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

wheels and tires are my biggest concern... The rest can be done... the cab from Conrad, frame and other accessories scratch build...

Maybe wheels from Oshkosh Plow??? or the BEAST had bigger tires... What I think

Oshkosh tires are too small, maybe something from a loader or a tractor?

I agree its in the tires, if they are not right the model would not look as tough. Ideas?

Obviously the Actros cab exists, but Remko has a point in looking at 1:43 for the framework. You might also consider looking at ATV toy tires/hubs in K-Mart or Wally world.

I love the Titan trucks, and had the chance to visit their facilities in Backnang a few years ago.

While the Mammoet would be a very nice piece, why not have a "true" Titan? My vote would be for the Z60 8X8.

Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!

I think that I would go with the Smith off road tires but the wheels would have to be modified which shouldn't be a problem. It looks like you could make a cover for the wheels in the configuration shown and use a decal for the lug nuts and hub.

What specific models out there have this Actros cab?
