I like the 80-120 tonne excavators , a model of the EX 1200 would be very nice, come on ERTL do a large Hitachi !

Nice pics. Isn´t Hitachi still an indepentent company? I think John Deere just sells the Hitachi hoes in their livery. Just like they do with the Liebherr dozers

I saw that thing on my way to brox the other day. Nice machine. Seems like a little overkill for what they are doing though.

I agree with huey ... is it me or do the Hitachis have a real sweet hard look to them. As far as big hoes, these would be awesome in 1:50. Those Zaxis models with the demo setups could be easily re worked into possibly a ME hoe. What do you say Ertl, watch em fly off the shelves.

Great pictures Glen! Like the others, I've always liked the larger Hitachi machines. they always appear to be bulkier than the other machines in the same size class. Brian, I hope your health takes a turn for the better soon. Huey9 wrote:I like the 80-120 tonne excavators , a model of the EX 1200 would be very nice, come on ERTL do a large Hitachi !
