very big hoe indeed.let me ask karen to get change for a 5 and ill be right over...missed the auction....more surgury.....more health problems....getting sick of this .anyway nice pics. you been busy? whats the machine going to be doing? new highway? good to see at least some people are working...our crew is getting axed tomorrow big time. heard hes cutting the company down to 5 guys. cant wait for snow. sorry for ranting on...new meds. brian

Great photos, looking forward to some action shots! I too am interested in knowing what it will be loading... also what sized bucket is that and are they using trimble or topcon GPS?

I like the 80-120 tonne excavators , a model of the EX 1200 would be very nice, come on ERTL do a large Hitachi !

Isn´t Hitachi still an indepentent company? I think John Deere just sells the Hitachi hoes in their livery. Just like they do with the Liebherr dozers Wink

I saw that thing on my way to brox the other day. Nice machine. Seems like a little overkill for what they are doing though.

Jeff i did'nt say big old hoe.Mr greene they got to move a lot of ledge if you look down the street they got 4-5 rock trucks and a couple adt's at the old car lot. Guys they are putting a couple lanes on the hiway from the state line.

I agree with huey ... is it me or do the Hitachis have a real sweet hard look to them. As far as big hoes, these would be awesome in 1:50. Those Zaxis models with the demo setups could be easily re worked into possibly a ME hoe. What do you say Ertl, watch em fly off the shelves.

Great pictures Glen! Like the others, I've always liked the larger Hitachi machines. they always appear to be bulkier than the other machines in the same size class.
