Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

If you download the product guide brochure, it actually states that no liveried versions of the 4100XPC will be produced. Only the black and yellow version will be available. Miniature Construction World on FacebookMiniature Construction World on Twittersjd@miniature-construction-world.co.uk

Rossco, I have an OHS P & H 4100 XPB, and I've had it a lot of years now. Let me assure you nothing, not even even a TWH 495,( because I have 2 of those), beats Chinese brass. You take a peep at a CCM Lima 2400 face shovel, when you can, and you'll see what I mean. I sold most of my collection 5 years ago and kept just the nice pieces I really liked, quality not quantity. Etched brass construction still gives you the sharpest cleanest detail. At a price though, some people however want lots of cheaper models and thats fine, but if they added up how much they all cost, perhaps its the same as my one expensive one. The lift side must have cost a fortune lately. I do however think that the 4100 XPC will make a wonderfull model. Will they now make the old timer 206 shovel now? Hope so, anyone know? Good comment Rossco, got me thinking.
Regards Mark Bridle

How will this compare to the Bucyrus 495 models in terms of size, detail etc? I was thinking of getting a 495 but am tempted to wait for this instead! Andrew My pbase photo galleriesVintage Transport photosBritish LocomotivesMy Heavy Haulage Models New Heavy Haulage an Construction added.
