She looks absolutely beautiful Even though I have the new NZG 11200 ordered there's something special about those "smaller" and "older" big cranes. When I saw Steve's AC500(Mammoet) in a previous thread(link) it just look awesome. This is kinda hard to explain but I just like the way they're more compact with the boom, cab and counterweights all "in one place" on the crane. The 11200 looks a bit like a sprawling spider!. Graham, that is very quick with your Nooteboom Scanias. I have one ordered(I'm assuming it's the same one we're talking about!) from a dealer in England and I noticed they became "now available" yesterday but goodness knows when it will arrive... Until then though, if you happen to have any pics of this beauty it would be much appreciated

Tut tut tut very naughty gus, you should be concentrating hard there! You'll be sent to the corner to stare at the wall if your caught! Anyway your one should be here soon, might get a pic of the fleet then! Thorleif i know what you mean, i like the way these large cranes can be made so compact too without dismantling the whole thing (apart from the counterweights), it took some engineering! Graham, ordered the scania lastnight too and got e-mail this morning saying she's on the way. They have a brilliant shipping service and it only costs €7.95.. makes you wonder why other dealers are charging €17 to €25 for shipping the same models from the same country and neighbouring countries! Oh dont know if you saw the new nooteboom volvo with tag axle on their site, the first one released with tag axle.

Actually there are many model shop have their share of 2 units for sale (of only 50+ unit released for public purchase). But these shops just keep it for themself, or waiting for it to fetch high price then they start to sell. ( I have tried to contact the shops but all them said not for sale) I think they breach the trust of being a distributor..
I already have 6 units of various livery or version of AC500, but still wanting more of it. But will never buy it with unreasonable high price.
Yes i angry, but not jeolous. Sold out is fine with me, but this time distributor keep it, & not for sell, made me mad..

yeah,Gohkleng,i've had a few people say that and its probably true too,its not right, but to those who have recieved one,you are lucky (EXPLETIVE DELETED!!!)s lol i would kill for one!!!,maybe even swap my mammoet ac500,it would just make the right partner for my YCC sarens ltm1800 i would probably give €500 for one, considering the ac1600 is about €450 and Noel is this your first 500?!!!!!!! lol,if so what a version to pop your cherry lol so with all the ones made fo rretail sold, looks like i'll have to hire out their ac700 for a week or something

Well guys, Gus came along this morning and we managed to seperate these two before they got too overpowering and took over the place! Pity to see them seperated but what harm, at least their both still in the same little county here in Ireland.. who knows, maybe they'll even meet up with their 54 other brothers one day!!
