I like it! A 1050J LGP is a big machine. Wonder what the maximum capacity of the boom is...

If it compares to the Caterpillar D8 model or 583T pipelayer then The capacity should be aroung 150,000 lbs.? I'm guessinng on that one.

Is that a 950J or 1050J. im leaning toward a 950j Because of the midwestern M572cxl model num. Doesn't that coincide with a D7

tdozer,

It's an 850J LGP.

BasketballMan,

Maximum lift capacity is 100,000 lbs.

Zaxis450LC,

There's no such thing as a 1050J LGP, 950J is as large as they go.

Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!

There is definitely a 1050J dozer but if you are referring to how large the LGP or sideboom models go then I apologise.

Yes; I was referring to LGP variants as Zaxis450LC thought the pipelayer was a 1050J LGP (which does not exist). It's interesting that you posted a photo of the 1050J WH. A couple of those have come through the local dealership in the last year or so. Unfortunately; I never got any photos as they were only on the lot for two days to be fitted with fire suppression systems before going to work for Waste Management.

Here is a 1050J Sideboom. It's Midwestern's model M583C with a 140,000lb capacity.
