i think i heard it was the same as Speirings Think Think can someone confirm??

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Kevin, at the show last weekend we were talking to the owner of kavanaghs and he said that they use the same yellow as spierings standard yellow. I think this is for all their cranes and not just their spierings but i'm not 100%. I dont know the RAL for spierings but i'm sure someone would?? You could try contacting steve mcquire too and asking him what RAL colour they used on the scania model.

Cheers lads...

Funny I was thinking about asking Steve also...I'm planning either an LTM1200-5.1 or AC200-1 repaint to match up with the Scania + Nooteboom Ballast model.

I was actually thinking of doing the ltm1200 myself in their livery to give the scania something to haul! Wonder if birger could make decals? ICN sent me pics a few weeks ago of a spierings model and an ac500 and service van he did in their livery, he said i could post the pics to show people if anyone is interested??

Me...me....me..... I would be interested in sharing the costs for a order of decals if they were available to order.
I'm I right in thinking that Kavanagh once owned an AC500-1/2?

It was owned by a mate of mine called Ed Fahey, but he switched back to his other hobby of motorsports and model trains....

Ah I didn't think anyone would be interested graham!! Liar Liar

Kevin I think they had an ac500 but not sure, i doubt ICN would do a repaint of a 'fictional' model if they hadn't. Oh and yeah i'd definitely be interested in the decals. Have you any pics of their cranes, birger would probably need some... i'll put up the pics now!

I had a quick word with my mate and he has tons of pics he is gonna dig out for me of the AC500-1 so watch this space....
I just found an AC500-1 model in original standard Demag colours that I never knew I had so it would be a perfect donor model, but would be interested in doing the LTM1200/AC200-1 too.

Yes I found a few old goodies that I had forgotten about including another AC500-1 that was repainted into "SCHOLPP" by Christian many moons ago along with a Man TGA 4 axle unit and an AC40-1 amongest other stuff.

I was talking very briefly to Leo last week on msn messenger, he seems to be doing ok lately.

Right Homer,
We have savoured on the pics, now time for some AC500-1 muscle please...:d/
