I think this model has been announced for years, till now no sign of it. Is the project still go on?? To console myself on this, I bought myself 2 of this very nice little Hitachi model. very nice looking "model" similar one can be seen here: http://cgi.ebay.ca/TAKARA-TOMY-1%2F185-HITACHI-RIGID-DUMP-TRUCK-EH3500-ACII_W0QQitemZ110462525090QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20091127?IMSfp=TL091127181001r87

Hello I beleive this project is still in the works, should be a beauty when completed. I told them I would like to get one in Euclid green paint. they told me a limited run would be done in this color. Yes I agree it has been a long time.

Yes, was there not an issue between Hitachi and Euclid on what the truck would be badged as(or something)?. I remember seeing a thread about this a few months ago but indeed the whole project seems to have fallen silent

Last I talked to Brandon the big delay was due to a marketing issue over having either the Euclid or Hitachi name placed on the model.

Hello, what about my proposal. Hitachi could sell two versions, one in green Euclid colour with Euclid logo and the other one in orange with Hitachi logo on it. Everyone would be happy both model collector and marketing departement. Best regards Peter

This is the model..... The last time I spoke to Brandon I also heard that it was waiting for Hitachi approval of the livery. It has all gone quite though. Mitchtim

Yeah! hopefully the model will be as detail as the one made by first gear. With suspension and individually spinning wheel is ideal. Any idea it is made of what material? resin? white metal or best diecast..
