Come on, Tim tells us that if there is to be a thread about Qballs ban, it needs to be in the lounge, or we get suspended. So there is one the lounge, or I should say WAS one in the lounge. Thanks for deleting another one oh great leaders.

While it did run off topic a little , it was civil ... ....I didn't catch anything after midnight ..

The moderator's and Admin's have in the past said that "this board is what you all make it "...

So let the board speak ..

Totalitarianism (or totalitarian rule) is a political system where the state, usually under the control of a single political organization, faction, or class domination, recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible.[2] Totalitarianism is generally characterised by the coincidence of authoritarianism (i.e., where ordinary citizens have no significant share in state decision-making) and ideology (i.e., a pervasive scheme of values promulgated by institutional means to direct the most significant aspects of public and private life)[3].

Interesting... I don't think the "Totalitarianism" idea quite apllies here. This isn't a State or Political run or owned system/site (by a long shot). It's private. We don't pay fees or dues to use this site,it's free and provided to us by the owner of DHS,Chuck. Being it's a FREE site and OWNED by Chuck, that gives him the RIGHT AND SAY-SO to do as he pleases setting the rules for the site and choosing anyone he sees fit to be moderators. The rules are straight forward and to the point. People didn't/don't just get booted off with-out warnings, they had fair warning to knock off the crap first and (more than) a fair chance to get their act back together. This Forum site has been OVERLY FAIR with the misfits and giving out second chances. I've seen that first hand over all the years I've been on this forum.

Other sites I frequent have ZERO ZERO tolerance for misfits. You read the rules, you break them,it's over you're out PERIOD !!! NO second chances.

And for the record, Tim and I agreed not to pull the post as long as it remained somewhat civil and in the lounge. Hear this-we DID NOT delete the thread. That means one of the two Admins did, and in reality the only one I see doing that on a Saturday night would be the owner. So you see even the mods get over ruled....................

...and on this type of site, that's also at the Admins discretion to over rule if the envionmental circumstances dictate.

And for the record,Tim & Bob are doing a MORE than fair job.

Steve I have one question for you... If the moderator makes a political statement that breaks the rules and another member on here has to inform him of it does that mean he can go back and change it and no harm is done? Who gives him a warning? That is my only question I seen a mod do it on here and that moderator knows who he is and the person that called him out knows who is too. When it all went down he went and deleted half of the thread. Bob is right and I really appreciate everything that is done here but my only thing is when a moderator steps out of line and the higher ups don't see it than is he allowed to run free and do it when he wants? Or does the other moderator give him a warning? Does he get slapped on the wrist don't do it again. I have been wondering this for about over a month since this has happened? So this goes way back since this whole little ordeal.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.

Here's my 2 cents and I am pretty sure many people are going to jump on me.

How about we all just drop it and more on with our lives. Just face the facts the guy was banned. Chuck owns it and he can do what he wants to who ever he wants. I agree with Qball on many rants and he sure does entertain me and many other but heres my million dollar question. What is so special about this guy?

Yeah, the topic of which he was banned. I'm trying to figure out what so special that we HAVE to have him on this forum. Now I have no idea if he was banned in a manor that he broke the rules or he was banned un fairly and I can honestly care less, since that seems to be the arguement. I'm on no ones side. Now ok, on the topic of why hes so special. So he made rants on his opinion and upload them on youtube to share with everyone. Is that why we need him here or did he do a significant act? I'm anxoius to know since everyone loves the guy and praises him, now, there is no problem with that, I'm just anxious to know.

So if one does not know why someone has been banned, or the circumstances behind it, why would they be a toolbag and have to comment on it?

Well who says someone can't add there own two cents? You always have to add your two cents to my posts, like so, and I never say a word.
