Hi Sandbox This was a John Henry Rock Drill Kit, the part on the rear of the counterweight holds a diesel powered air compressor i think. Bought the kit off this forum a few years back Mick

Thats cool I have seen one similar on a PC600 komatsu long reach, they are quite a piece of equipment. http://photobucket.com/cat627g equipment pics. theres nothing like the smell of asphalt in the morning!

Yes Tom the kit was by Michael Delacy. I think he stopped making stuff which is a pity, i used to enjoy his posts on the forum. Bought the Rock Drill and Road Header off him. I wish i had bought the Low Drill looked like a good project, if M Delacy reads this Please start making your kits again i want a Low Drill. Thanks Mick
