I see it's 1/87 scale....is that what you had been hoping for?...and for about $210...

I think a lot of people who only view as well as those that participate here purchased one of the EX8000 models (I've got one or three) and this should compliment it nicely I think! It would also look good underneath the P&H 4100XPB/C. CCM 797s are getting pricey and OHS MT-4400s are getting scarce and more expensive as well.

I'm anxious to see this piece in my hands, and hope that it is more faithfully rendered than the EX8000 was.

Although I've not received mine yet, they've hit eBay. Here are images from a listing.









At least it has an engine casting and I think it will look good with the EX8000!

Ok, now that there´s an EH5000 in 1/87, will we ever see the 1/50-version from EMD?

Edit: Take a look at this. Shinsei has updated the EX8000 to a dash6 machine.

You´re right. It´s just the new dash6 livery (which IMHO looks pretty cool) Cool
