I see it's 1/87 scale....is that what you had been hoping for?...and for about $210...

I think a lot of people who only view as well as those that participate here purchased one of the EX8000 models (I've got one or three) and this should compliment it nicely I think! It would also look good underneath the P&H 4100XPB/C. CCM 797s are getting pricey and OHS MT-4400s are getting scarce and more expensive as well. I'm anxious to see this piece in my hands, and hope that it is more faithfully rendered than the EX8000 was. Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!

Ok, now that there´s an EH5000 in 1/87, will we ever see the 1/50-version from EMD? Edit: Take a look at this. Shinsei has updated the EX8000 to a dash6 machine.

What's different on the "new" EX8000 ? I just see a different railling colour !
