Over here in California a lot of companies have been having to re-power their equipment to meet with the strict emissions requirements by CARB and as much as I miss the sounds of the old engines and seeing the black smoke I thought it would be kind of cool to do a few repowers in my own fleet... Here is a D10N, based on the ERTL model, that has just come out from a full CATERPILLAR certified dealer rebuild and now packs a CAT ACERT C27 engine under the hood, also had a few other obvious modifications made while it was in the shopCool

Of course all the pictures can be on my website

Enjoy!

Ken

Great work, looks like I might have to give my D10N pusher an open cab.

Very nice modification. I have not seen or heard of any companies here in Ohio doing anything like they are doing in your area. The cost must be extreme. Do not want to redo my 6 old CAT D9'G. Bought 6 Conrad D9'Gs just before they were discontuned and a friend of mine made a side by side D9, a D9 quad, and a D9 pulling s scraper. Thanks for sharing.
