Spotted this yesterday driving, so today I brought the camera with me and got some picture of the crane. It kind of surprised me at first to see a LTR around here had to do a double take, this crane is pretty sweet to see in person

Here is the serial plate because I knew someone would ask to see it

Anyone in the DFW area it is off of North west highway and 114, at the Irving convention center site.
Hope you like the pics I have not had a lot for the lift side in a while so here is my treat enjoy the cookies

For moving injured persons....AKA stokes rescue basket. Do a google of it and the uses will make sense.

That is what I figured it was but thought it was kind of weird to have on the front of the crane? maybe the are just ready for an injury. I wished I lived closer to this site I would really like to go back and see this crane again

Great pictures Jason. My wife and I went out for some spotting. We made it by this one and got some good pics. Thanks for the heads up. We also got some great shots down near the river in Dallas of the lr-1280. About a month ago I shot some up close of Kiewit's 777 working on the same project as this 1100. I noticed it's down near the river not far from the old stadium now. It's also a nice looking Crane. I'll have to get all these on for ya'll at some point. The tracks on the 1100 are interesting. They are not the large seperate track pads you normally see. It's almost like one fluid piece of track. Pretty cool.

The conrad LTR1100, in Dornseiff colors in particular, is rather striking.

Glad you got to see it, it is even better to see in person then the pics, you will have to post thLR1280 pics you got, I was looking for a place to get some nice close ups. There is a bunch of older cranes at Loop 12 and 114 where they are doing the new over passes, they brought in a MAn 111 I did not have time to stop and get pics of it though
The tracks and pretty rugged on the LTR I am not sure which pads I like better the flat or the type on this crane

But then I need to ask, what's the point of moving an injured person on a vehicle with a max. speed of 2,8 km/h (~1,24mph)? EDIT: Just googled and kinda found out.

About the tracks, I personally like the flat ones more as they look more cranish Teeth The other ones look more like excavator tracks.

Very nice pic's, Thanks for posting.

Might have to make one of those stretcher things for my LTR, something different.

As for the serial numbers , these are made at the same factory.
Just camout of the factory one after each other.

Trev.

LTR 1100 in 1:14 scale.
Cranes and trucks.
Any thing with a big engine & big tyres.......

Love'm all.
