The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Lord what an ugly locale for an F1 race! I realize one is limited with landscaping in the middle of the friggin' desert, but come on - import some palm trees or something! Cool
Impressive return of the prancing horse...

Very uneventful race. That track is a joke, and even more so with that horrible pavement on the new part. Good to see Ferrari 1-2, although I would have liked to have seen Vettel on the podium and not Hamilton. I like the looks of the Lotus, and I'm glad to not see any of those stupid wheel covers.
With more and more boring Tilke tracks appearing on the calendar, I'd say, yes, we're back to a total yawn fest.

anyone whitness the madness that was Webber/Vettel shunt? a total gut wrenching feeling and just leaves the one question "Why?"

It could have been alot worse all the same, still a good finish from Webber,

And then to see an almost replay of it with McLaren! It would have been something to see Webber lead, get booted and still win in the end!

I couldnt help but belly laugh when i saw that accident today! Mainly because Seb Vettel wasnt able to finish the race! Dont get me wrong its not a nice thing to see from a safety point of view but from my personal view i couldnt help but be pleased as i really cant stand vettel, Glad to see Lewis got his first win of the season though! And those few corners when Jenson and Lews were scrapping for 1st was absolutely breath taking! Top racing!

Roll on Canada!

The domination of Mclaren and Red Bull continues. Can you imagine Schumacher was running something like 30 seconds behind first through fourth? I didn't see a lot of spectators either, as SpeedTV mentioned. Think

yeah commentators mentioned a few times that where it was in relation to a populated area plus the fact it was supposed to be very expensive contibuted to a low attendance, just as well for Vettel,a couple of thousand people didn't witness the "move" lol

had the two McMercs come to the same fate I'd still be laughing now,and i'm sure webber would be too

MS didn't seem too confident about taking the mercedes to Canada so we could see them qualify and finish behind the Ferraris and Renaults

Yeah should be a good race as long as Vettel doesnt get together with Webber againd'oh! Yeah the Buzzin' Hornets were my team back in the days of EJ and co....Spa 1998 would have to be one of my favourite races of all time, the drama at the start, Schumacher and Coulthard getting into fisticuffs and of course the Jordan 1-2Wink

Mark Webeer has to be one of the Luckiest men alive after that accident! 190mph too 0 in about 3 seconds.....could have easily been a hell of a lot worse!

Hamilton driving out of his skin again even though Vettel tried to take him out of the race on the second corner of the first lap....man how i hate vettel!

not too sure about Vettel trying to take out Hamilton, thats just your run of the mill 1st corner argie bargie stuff,

Interesting to hear the commentators argue as to who was at fault,I didn't like hearing Coulthard so blatently take Webbers side, then I realised he's still on Red Bulls pay role, but in my opinion it was 100% Webbers mistake,

you drive along on a public road and someone plows into you from behind, its their fault all day long,by either being too close, going too fast or just not paying attention,

the lotus was 4 seconds a lap slower so what was the blind panic to get past him at that corner, surely he'd have go him on the next

Webber took a chance, when he shouldn't,time and track went against him,and thankfully they are both ok

Personally i think you can clearly see vettel move across to the left and as if to make hamilton move off line....he knows what he's doing and he's done it a few times before Me thinks he's trying to be anew dirty schumacher!

I honestly dont know how webber wasnt injured in that crash....just goes to show how safe these new F1 cars are...i mean he must have hit that barrier at 150-160mph and that wasnt that much damage to the body work when you consider what it would have been like 10 or 15 years ago....

I was just glad the car didn't end up on top of him. Friggin' scary ride.

What is the story on Kimi Raikkonen this year? Did he have a hissy fit and decide to race elsewhere in 2010? Was it a money problem? I think he's doing rally cars or something...
