Well, what Todd s can do, so can I. In 1/50th that is!!

My order finally came in today. The RTG RG 21T fom Bymo. Very nice (but also very heavy!) model.

The details are pretty good (for a retail price of € 109 euro's / $ 145 USD in the Bauer shop).

At the top is an actual working winch for lifting the sheetpiles into the clamp. The thread is a bit short though, and came off on my model when I fully unwinded it. Mght have to replace it with something else. The undercarriage is adjustable from 58 mm / 2.3 inch transport width to 94 mm / 3.7 inch in working width.

Box. Except for photo's of the real machine, a small amount of technical data (weights, dimensions, engine power etc) can also be found here. As well as contact information for RTG.

On my Volvo VN780 6x4 truck with Nooteboom 4-axle lowloader in Ocean Traders livery (not new, just hadb't gotten it out of the box yet).

The model. Included in the box are the following seperate pieces:

- Two thin (accurately scaled) and fully functional sheetpiles (can be connected together just like the real deal), complete with lifting hole. It would be nice to see Bymo releasing these seperately.
- Counterweight
- Single clamp vibrator unit, compleet with chain to secure the sheetpiles
- Two railings for the cab, one with mirror (left side) and one without (right side). These are about 0.2 mm thick. Very thin, and very fragile!!
- Ladder with mirror for the right side of the machine (the ladder was a little bent with my model, but this could easily be corrected)
- Cab side board
- Two brass pins for securing the vibrator to the coupler.

Rear of the machine without the counterweight.

Vibratorclamp (with chain!).

Leader up.

Maximum height (the maximum sheetpile length is about 45 cm / 1.5 feet => 22.5 meters / 74 feet)

Sweet model and I really like the fact that the CW detaches. May have to keep an eye out for one of these.

Thanks Remko!

That is a very sweet machine. It would be nice if you could buy just the sheet piles (Z-Sheets) as I already have the Liiebherr 255 and would like to do a dio of a deep pump station that needs to be sheeted( Like a few I worked on back in the mid 80's,that were around 36' to 42' deep). But you can only hope. Thank you for the thread.

I couldn't find the new piling rig here, or locate the Bauer store, do you happen to have a link to the
Bauer store?

Thanks
Eric

Considering when I posted official Bauer shop photos here a few weeks ago and they were immediately deleted, I wonder how long this thread will survive.

Remko and others know what I speak of.

Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!

Very close Remko but the model number designates the maximum designed pile length. For example your model would be able to swing a 21 meter sheet pile and if I hung a vibrator on mine I could drive 25 meter piles.

You do mean a model right? I've read rumours about the BC 40 trenchcutter at Rainer Markgraf's website. If it's bigger.... Could it be a BG 48 or, No... That's just not possible... Not THIS... Anxious Anxious

No no real machine, sorry not a model. But I would not be surprised if we dont see a model of their new machine before long.

Hello guys,

Just in case you did not realize, you can pre-order this model and extra piles from our website. We encourage you to shop here if you post here, of course!!!

See part numbers BR25020 and BR93500. We are waiting for the second run which we hear will be of a higher quality than the models provided to Bauer for Bauma.

So order yours today - photos will be up soon.

Chuck
