Hi!

This is my latest custom, a Åkerman EC200 excavator fitted with a CAT H65 harvester head.

I have been working on this machine for about two years. The motivation to build on it hasnt been that high all the time... Whatever

Anyway, it is finally done and I am very pleased with it.

Here is what I have done;

- Replaced the bucket with a CAT H65 harvester head (from Norscot's CAT 580B harvester).
- Mounted a push blade (from JOAL Åkerman EW200).
- Fitted a ROPS (built by my friend Rickard, Big thank you to him).
- Replaced the cab interior with the interior of a JOAL Volvo EC650 cab.
- Swiched to wider tracks, originally from a JOAL Volvo EC650.
- Painted all rivets.

Here are afew pics;

ROPS byggd av Rille, tack så mycket! Smiley

Hope you like it, I am very pleased on how it turned out.

Nice work, not sure why Joal put levers in the EC200 rather than the joysticks from the EC650 kudos on the attention to detail. I'm a big Åkerman fan, my first model was the Åkerman EC650 and have been trying to pick up all the models. I've managed to get most of the larger ones over the past year of eBay, H25's, EC620, EC650, front shovels, back-hoes etc.

Thanks for your comments! I am a big Åkerman fan to. The levers of the EC200 is more like the ones you find in a rope shovel than in an hydraulic excavator. Not very nice looking.

Dont want to go off topic but do you have a list of all the Åkerman models produced. I know Joal and NZG have being the main produces and then theres the expensive one on the back of a Scania truck, think it has ropes or chains on it.

NZG has made a H25B/C model, and JOAL has made H7/EC200, H25D/EC620/EC650. Tekno has made two or three diffrent Åkerman cable machines aswell, either with Scania or Volvo tractors.
