I have uploaded images of some of the model finds at Bauma. I have also uploaded a picture gallery of some of the sights from the event. Click on the images below for more details.

I'm very pleased the Volvo Concept machines will be released, and in 1/50th as well!! I totally missed those, but I assume they wee inside the Volvo stand outside the halls. Inside the hall were only the large scale models. The Doosan looks great too. Normally I wouldn't get a 1/40th model, but if this is released, I'll certainly get it!

Both the EC460C and the EW160C look great, they may be expensive, but given the fact that they are produced by NZG (highly detailed, funtioning steering, straight booms...) I think they may be well worth it. The EC 20 is way overpriced though... I'm sure that this will drop soon, as almost no collector would be willing to spent this amount of money on such a small model. Unless it's made of gold or silver of course, as JanH already mentioned... Teeth

Steven, many thanks for this interesting report.

What about the Bucyrus RH400 ? Is it a Peter Keim model, a TWH prototype, or something else ?

The more I see THAT livery the more I dislike it. Get rid of that purple/maroon colour and it would be a nice livery. Love that Volvo excavator.

I actually quite like that livery now! I think it looks quite nice! Wish someone would make an RH40 model! or a RH30!

The RH400 model on the Bucyrus stand is from Peter Keim, and the MT4400 are from Brami/Bymo and have been repainted (Presumably by TWH) in the new corporate colour scheme.
