Hello all,

All shinny and fresh out the wrapper, Ainscoughs new TC2800. Training of the drivers up at Stockton is done and its of to Harwich international port tomorrow to do its 1st job over the weekend.

Think many will agree that it does look good in our livery.

she's beautiful Gaz! thanks for posting!!!

add a couple more Terex' to the family in 2011 too Wink

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Good to see you back, Man! She is a beautiful crane....

Did they ever get around to giving the LTM1800 a new coat of paint?

-Alvin.

The beatings will continue until Morale improves......

Cheers Alvin, the LTM1800 is still looking pretty warn out....its up on the new widening the A1 at Leeming at the moment and then I believe its in the Olympic park on Monday. Not sure how much the longer we will keep it now the TC2800 is here, that and another new addition that is yet to come to light means I reckon the big girl might be off to another owner soon.

it appears to be extendable now, before i thought it was fixed in a set position from the rear mast.... this looks like the extension tray that Liebherr has, specifically the one that is on the LR 1750 model with the cylinder in the middle although thats a wheeled ballast wagon instead of hanging in this case....

EDIT:

here

Great looking crane. Nothing like a new paint job! Looks huge.

As Mammoet says "SIZE DOES MATTER". Slowly collecting Mammoet 1:50 scale stuff. Mainly cranes!

Nice!! Waiting to see it in action Smile

Indeed, that counterweight tray configuration is one that I've never ever seen before on a TC 2800. It can be used on CC 8800 though. It seems as that extendable tray radius cylinder is something new for the TC 2800. Any ideas about that Gaz?
