Awesome pics Jason!! I really wish someone would make a larger Komatsu excavator (besides the PC1100).

kiewit is playing a large part in it, if not all of it. I nearly rear-ended someone on hwy114 today trying to watch that same 800 load.d'oh! Over the past year I have seen more Kiewit jobs here in the dfw area than any other big outfit. I had never seen them here before now. It's nice to have them around. They always seem to run nice equipment. Never anything junky. Good shots Jason. I'm like you, wish I would've had more time. But it's almost the weekend, and these and the Liebherr crawlers are only 15 min from my houseTeeth

Dan's Excavating, Inc. here in Michigan used to own 4 of the PC 750's, but the work to support those types of machines is no longer here in Michigan, I believe they still own 1 or 2 of those machines and either sold or traded the others in for newer smaller machines.....like PC400's and 345C and D series machines...

I believe Dans has a few Pc 600-7s running around. Like most everyone here, they are hurting. Im hoping this year finally gets some of the players buying work out of the business. Unfortunately, the way things are going, everyone will be on their way out of the door. Blown away yet?

Was blown away 5 years ago.....Thanks Granholm. Hopefully the next governor can make things better for all of us....Hopefully, it will be Dillon or Synder, they are best chances for getting infrastructure funding a priority. At least they understand that when you spend money on infrastructure, it puts everybody back to work (across all lines of employment).

yesterday i did some driving and i ran into two of dans jobs (m-59 and I 69) and as far as big excavators on 59 they had 345cl some pc400 one 600 and a 385c and on 69 they had two pc400s and a pc600 and i also went by the lot and they had either a pc750 or a pc800 back there in pieces. i dont think dans buys just one of anything. they got a few of each piece they buy. i think i counted 3 cat 345cl one day
