The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

You one lucky damn to see this crane, dude. Really one of the highest goals in a crane fan's life is probably to see the PTC in real life More than that, I can not say

Tie hell !! Thanks Brandon, But i think Bob, Jules and Zach snapped the photos of a lifetime. Truly kick ass shots. You guys are lucky. Great pics! Those road trips are sure fun when you have someone else to enjoy the experience with. Thats truly the biggest crane I have ever seen. By the way Brandon, don't sell yourself short, some of your shots from the Manitowoc yard are just as amazing as my friend. I'd give anything to see that yard up close!

Can you imagine that i have seen quit a few times ptc's at the Huisman and Mammoet yard in Rotterdam and i did not even took pictures of it. It's a funny world i am happy if i see an old school 100 ton crane and takes loads of pics of it. But i have to agree it's huge and impresive. (Mayby i need to swop houses for a few months with a forum member in the us so i can take pictures from old americans and the other person can go to the Rotterdam every day.) Eef

Isn't it just great when an impromptu road trip ends in fruition!? Although cranes aren't my particular area of interest; who could not be impressed by this unit. Thanks to both of you for posting the photos at a sensible size and number. This forum software seems to accept large amounts of images when they are broken up into different threads instead of being put all in one. Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!
