The super columns are the least wait till the the truss pieces come from Harris , ADF ,Owens and the Vernadeal truss pieces from Ussra and Harris many 50 to 120 ton pieces . Not very soon way behind schedule . Discovery Channel at Harris MRP today . John

Man I wish they would make one of these in 1:50th. Anyone ever ran one? 4 foot pedals.....one for each of the boom sections and one for booming up and down?

I have a friend who owns one.
The foot pedals, of which there are five, the fifth is under the operators foot, include four two ways of which two control travel, one is the swing brake, and the last is the boom telescope. The fifth is the throttle. The armrests each have a joy stick which control the swing. auxilary hoist, main hoist and boom hoist.
This is confirmed by the Tadano Mantis web site. Tadano now owns Mantis. Only Grove of the larger crane manufacturers does not currently build one. Mantis, Favco, Link Belt and now Terex build this type machine. Years ago ran a 22 ton at Shady Grove when Grove did build one.
