Great sequence there.
Question I have is what the 2 D-8's were doing. They appear to be hooked up to something, but then they are gone in the pulldown sequence.

The D8's pulled out the front legs of the structure prior to the pull down. Each one was connected to three columns that were precut. I have a video of the process awaiting approval from Gramercy with views from inside the building as its coming down. You're gonna love it! That little water truck is on a Cat 4x4 articulated dump chassis. It is common to see these as 6x6s but the little 25 ton 4x4s were eliminated from the line and never made it to the 700 series truck. The use of articulated dump truck chassis for water trucks is not uncommon.
This is often a great second life for the best of the otherwise trade ins although a few companies may purchase new. The same is true of tandem dump chassis that were often recycle as water trucks. This is particularly true of some of the chassis that have historically stood up better to the riggors of construction.
I always enjoy seeing the ssdphoto posts when it comes to photos. I am just starting to play with digital photos. Stephen we love your posts.
