Figured we should get something in here that everyone might be interested in. I know some of you are to young to drive, but I guess this can be a show and tell. I was hoping for 1 pic and a description. --- 2002 F250 XLT, 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel, Ext. Cab, Long Bed, Towing Pkg, Offroad Pkg (4x4). Custom sound system. Cobra 19 CB radio. Man.I will love to have a truck as yours.Let me explain my point.my other passion is Jeep rock-crawling.Couple of years after,I have fabricate a decent rock crawler. The bad part.Don't have a trailer to transport it...and worst of the story....don't have a pick up to haul it. What a great stuff you got. 4x4 DIESEL POWER!!! Extended cab....and long bed. Cheers! P.S.Let me find pics on my daily drive. It's a Jeep. It's a diecast thing. You couldn't understand!

My toy is a 1996 ford ranger XL. Regular cab, it has a 4 cylinder (use to have a v8 but the previous owner blew it), it has 340,000 miles on her but has had 3 engines in it. I've done alot to it but none to the engine, I care more about what it looks like rather than the power, I've put a 3/4 drop kit on it and took a leaf out of the back to make it even lower since I never haul anything, Ive repainted it twice and put 18" cruiser alloy chrome rims on it, I've also tinted the windows myself, also painted the interior and put bucket seats in insted of the bench seat. Also put a nice system in it with a cd/DVD head unit, and finally put an alarm on it and also a leather bedcover. I'll post pics later they just cant leave me alone!

Must have been scary with an 8,000 pound truck on sand.

Not a problem with the trip. Lower tire pressure to 18 psi, engage 4 high and have fun. You can tell how much of the tire is deflated if you look at the top of the left front tire. The trip was 13 miles over the beach...A lot of fun! This truck actually rides a lot nicer than my previous truck - a 2004 F-250 4x4 regular cab. I had that one only 10 months before I got the '06. She's 22 feet long bumper to bumper. I take up two parking spots wherever I go without even trying. http://www.kbuilt.net

Yeah I am 21ft long. You have to start waiting for traffic to be clear coming both ways even if your turning right sometimes cause you have to take up the entire road to turn.

My buddy has a 24 valve cummins, I've driven it before and it is a nice truck. The interior could be a little more ford like though.

The cummins is nice, should swap a 5.9 in my truck.

The 6 speed tranny that you can get behind a 5.9L cummins is an Allison trans. But I agree its about the only thing GM has. Their trucks just haven't changed in years, plus the newer body style is horrid.
