roadsalt does wonders.... plus its about a 2005 so 5-6yrs old and the paint from factory sucks at least from terex/demag.... oh well its mechanicaly sound
even our 75t truckmount linkbelts look like ass because of the cheap paint/steel
these cranes run the roads daily they get alot of hrs/klms on them.

i have been told that the big Terex/Demag cranes are very sluggish and slow responsive, any truth to that?

Heavy lift for such a "small crane". I believe boom and SL (don't know about SSL, but when I lifted SL, it was 9 tons) are 50+ tons (metric)

I am going to guess that they used the Link Belt to lift the heel or but end of the boom and left the tip in the dolly. This allowed the use of one crane rather than the two I've seen used when setting the boom of this sized machine.

unsure on operating speeds... i know the carrier gets up and moves.... then stops at 60klm
its a 75t crane..... not to "small" lol
it picks about 58000lbs....about 1/2 the weight, you raise the boom tip first and then back the boom up to center it at the heel then hoist it up out of dolly, then back the carrier into the boom and make the pins.
