Dear all, I have created a new thread for WSI models so that anyone with WSI news or questions can perhaps add to it here? There have also been some changes within WSI, including the newly formed WSI Germany which was borne out of Little Treasure Models. So to start to ball rolling what better than a completely new chassis design that is on WSI homepage and LTM: This is a new 8x6 chassis with the front wheels being drive and is the Actros Titan 4365 8x6 from Feldmann of Switzerland. A very nice addition I think! Paul R

Hopefully in the future WSI will do a MAN TGA 8x8 in Australian Army markings to go with a Drake 8x2 dolly and 8x4 trailer as used to haul Abrams tanks.

New for 2011 from WSI: The company Schindler+Schlachter is one of the traditional names in German heavy haulage, having tackled numerous jobs throughout Europe over the years. In its distinctive green livery, WSI brings for the first time a heavy ballasted Scania prime mover. This model features the new cooling unit tower behind the cab like it is produced by Laxa Special vehicles. Due March 2011. For crane fans Thömen is a Hamburg institution. The company started in the 1920s with the horse-drawn delivery of vegetables and later coal before evolving into one of Germanys major heavy haulage and crane businesses over the decades. Todays trucks have heavier loads to tackle than the briquets of their ancestors: Paul R
