Honestly, at this stage I doubt it will be if they're looking to sell the real crane! Looks like the wait goes on for another Irish model crane Confused

East Cork 1350 For Sale
To be honest this is a long time coming, everytime I passed East Corks yard it was either parked up or set up in the yard doing nothing.

Is this model actually going to be made? Last I heard they were waiting on enough orders to justify making it but I've not heard if enough orders have been received?

Paul R

Sam, I heard that they are buying a LTM1500, thats why they are getting rid of the 1350.

Paul, the model isn't going ahead now as the minimum quantity WSI would do is 200 and it would be very difficult to sell 200 in a livery thats not very well known.

Thanks for the update Noel. Pity that it isn't going ahead as it is a nice livery.

I seriously doubt it Noel, the 1350 has done barely any work and im nearly 90% sure their next biggest crane is a LTM 1160! 160 to 500 is a hell of a big gap to leave empty! Also if they were buying a 1500 liebherr would be taking the 1350 on trade like they did with their 1250 for the 1350, they wouldn't be trying to sell it privately. You sure someone didn't get them mixed up with O'Briens? Because they do have brand new 1500 with the last 2 months or so.

Pity that the model isn't going ahead now though Confused

Sam they might be gettin a second hand one in which case they probably wouldn't be able to get a trade in.

A friend of mine was talking to the owner of the company so its from a good source! If they are getting one, my guess would be that they are trying to get into the windmill work.

I guess it if for people who make their own trucks it is a nice set, but i don't think it will sell out quick.

But personally i like the ballast trailer and the scheuerle trailer.

Mammoet- Size does Matter.

i would like to see these containers and the "tools"

wonder if they will be sold separately, it would be nice so people that just want the windmill parts can get them

There are only the 2 containers that will come with the model. The description I think is only meant to tell you what they would be used for, i.e tools.
