The 1350 should be nice, but I don't understand why they made so few 1500s, and not sell to collectors when alot of people want them, then turn around and make the 1350s, 1500s would sell alot better....

also, not very professional of wsi to use Vinnys photos and crop out his watermark and not even give him credit for the pic Shame on you

A quick check says the weisbauer version is $476 in the USA . 319 euro is not $476. What's the explanation?

New from Search Impex:

Customised promotional model vehicle specialists, Search Impex, are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of a 1:50 scale Volvo FH14 Globetrotter (6x2) tag axle tractor unit and 4 axle, stepframe trailer with double flip tail ramps, customised in the well known livery of Scottish operator Cadzow Heavy Haulage. (Load not included).

This is the third 1:50 scale model to be commissioned through Search Impex by Cadzow and follows on from the highly successful (and now greatly sought after) release of the Mercedes Actros Titan Megaspace (8x4) tractor unit with a 2 / bed / 5 axle Pendel-X trailer and the more recent release of the Mercedes Sprinter Abnormal Load Escort vehicle.

Demand from collectors for the new Volvo is expected to be high – so early reservations are recommended. The model will be produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Collectibles as a certificated Limited Edition.

The Cadzow Heavy Haulage roots actually go back to 1957 when James Macauley (Snr) purchased a 2 tonne Morris truck and set out with a vision of building a family business in public works, including earthmoving, demolition and the supply of construction materials. Following the death of James in the early 1970s, his son (Jim Jnr) had the daunting task of taking over the reins. He opted to move away from the civil engineering and public works sector and made a decision to move purely into heavy haulage - so beginning, in 1973, what is now seen as today’s Cadzow Heavy Haulage. Since then, under Jim Macauley’s guidance, the Company which, incidentally, takes its name from “Cadzow” – a region of South Lanarkshire in Scotland, has become one of the UK’s best known and most experienced operators in the transportation of heavy and abnormal loads.

Offering haulier services throughout the UK and Europe to a range of different industries, Cadzow Heavy Haulage can handle loads of up to 600 tonnes. Large items of machinery and plant for commercial businesses are moved using the haulier’s fleet of modern tractor units (predominantly Mercedes, DAF and Scania) on a variety of modern trailers, including modular & low loaders. Reinvestment has always been a philosophy of the Macauley family, a policy resulting in a very modern, well maintained and well presented fleet of units and trailers.

Any collectors wishing to reserve a model should register their interest with Search Impex as soon as possible and provide their contact details. The models are expected to be priced around £144 each (including UK delivery & VAT). We do NOT require any deposit payment. We will simply notify you as soon as the model is available and only at that time will we require payment in full.
