I agree! Applause

I love the idea of a 983! hat would be a dream model for me personally. But if we are going to get another scraper, how about a smaller 630?

Nice pics of the old Killer B and a 9G with cabs. Thats something you never saw on this side of the pond. Back in those days you were considerd a wuss if you needed a cab!

Are you an enviromentist, or do you work for a living?

Great pic of the classic combo back in the day 631B & D9G, please post more if you have them!

If a 31 was to come through my vote would be the square nose 67M serial no. 631C, probably the finest scraper Cat ever produced.

Just checked out the photos of the New D9T in Brass. I am so glad that I have the waste handler and the standard model on order. Amazing detail at a reasonable price, IMHO.

would love a D9T in fact any of the 1/48 Brass Caterpillars, just can't justify the cost ,though I got a brass D5G 2 years ago for $300 , now if I could get more bargains like that......

Also noticed on the prototype the old put the tracks on backwards trick, lost count of how many models i've seen on here with tracks back the front.

My favorite past of the blog is this...

We’re all very excited about making the 5230 model and looking forward to the possibility of a larger shovel down the road when CAT rolls out their new product lines!
