Thanks! I don't know if you saw that Dremel drill tool in some of the pictures but I basically sanded down the paint with a little sanding bit using that drill, and then using the drill again I polished it off giving it the shine, thanks again!

nzg does a great job with there models but i like the motorart back end better. it looks more realistic with the lights in the back. i have that same motorart model. only it has the kokosing livery on it. i don't care for the plastic tracks on it though.

I don't like the motorart models that much, poorly made mostly. As for for the rear end I am going for the 460, thats Volvo's new counter weight design witch in my opinion looks better than the older ones but thats me. The tracks on the 240 are way to skinny lol.

yeah i do agree the motorart does look cheaply made but the back end in my opinion looks way better than the nzg one.

some of the these model companys go to all the trouble of doing most the perks like metal tracks, hydro lines, fully detailed cabs, opening engine cover, detailed engine but then they paint on the lights???

i'd rather loose some of the perks line hydro lines that are sometimes brittle and break and have more realistic lights and warning labels and what not. but thats just me.

either way they are all 3 nice models. except the tracks on the biggest one are to skinny. but it's back end looks better than nzg's......

Well heres the thing though, the new Volvo counterweights don't have those reflective plastic lights anymore, they are just reflective stickers now, so NZG just did exactly what the real one is. I mean I like the old counter weight design to, looks better with the lights casted in. It would have been better if Volvo actually had the new design with those stickers indented into the counter weight.

Having all those perks to the model adds alot in my opinion, like Motorart never adds hydro lines, except to the boom cylinders on the excavators. Along with that Motorart uses alot of plastic when this model is 100% diecast every CM, witch gives the model a very heavy weight.

As for the EC700's tracks, they are to skinny I agree, and I wish they were metal.
