I was wondering what you guys might reccomend. Right now, it's a toss up between Liebherr's LRB 255 and the LB 28, although I am also interested in the Soilmecs. I'm just a little apprehensive buying one being that i'm on the lift side.

LBR 255 reason being you can get the accessory kit. This giving you more ways of setting it up. It's a nice model too. Cranesect did a review of it and the accessory kit.

MCW also have a section for foundation models alone: http://miniature-construction-world.co.uk/foundation_gallery.htmlI know its not a drill rig but have you considered the Bauer BC40 diaphragm/slurry wall cutter as well?? Hang330C has pictures of it posted here: http://forums.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=127624 Engineering; Its all STRESS and not just Force over Area!

Thanks guys! And yes, I do like the Bauers.....the malocolm livery looks very nice! The only problem is, they're a tad bit out of my price range. Hopefully though, i can earn some extra money soon. And yes footloose, that rig seems like my style- One old truck and ALOT of southern engineering!
