Happy new year to you all. Years ago when I get the internet I fond pics from the special Cat SD8lgp from the pool. And a have to build a model from it. Take some time to get information but with the help from a lot people that work on the pool. Got one day a mail with photos ,the next day measurements. But also get information from the New Zealand Cat dealer ,they modified al 3 dozers with new cab's in the 80s.

The grill was my biggest problem and came out easy, god one from my friend Black-Rat-Models.

Mate , that is an bloody amazing model, my father worked on D4's and D5's down the ice in the 70's and I love Antarctic cats, my avitar is one of my fathers dozer "slotted" (in a crevase), can't wait to see it finished, am working on a Australian D7H LGP "Traverse Special " but nothing to your standard
