Hi fellow forum members,
Here is my LTM1300 repaint and might I add
my first proper repaint attempt,I decided to
paint it in the Sarens livery, as well as being
one of my favourite liverys it's also not too
complicated for me, I finished it around late
November/early December when we got our
first snow so I took the opportunity to take
some outside shots enjoy!

Very nicely done! The LTM1300 is a great model by itself with just the straight jib on it and the YCC attachment gives it a great look as well. The LTM1300 is a great model to do a repaint on. Your decals look real good.

Stephen I knew it was gonna be sarens before I even opened the thread! Wink That turned out great, especially for your first attempt.

You done a very good job on the boom sections and the YCC kit adds an awful lot too. Where did you get the decals from?

Very, very nice job!

Where did the pendants come from for the Y system? I didn't think YCC did them and they don't look like the Conrad ones.

I managed to get hold of some
2nd hand m18000 pendants and
replaced the Conrad pendants
with them.

Unfortunately there was no
cable supplied with the YCC kit.

Hi Stephen,

You have done a fantastic job there, but how did you find the reeving of the bridle for the luffer?, I know I struggled with mine, possible one of the hardest reeves to do on a model, just wondering if you had any tips.

Hi Steve,I found reeving the bridle
really hard and frustraiting, definitely
one of the hardest, the string just
didn't want to go around the pulleys,
so I curved the end of the string then
super glued it to hold the curve in place
which made it a lot easyer for me, hope
this is usefull.

Stephen.

Hi mate, sorry to bump the topic but can you tell me what colour the paint code is and possibly where you got it from?
Cheers
