At the Bauma show in 1992, three Krupp scale model cranes were introduced. The models were
built by Auto Russia - KMK 3040, KMK 4070 and the KMK 5090 were handed out at the show.

The color of the three models was a dull white, but a limited run of KMK 4070's which were chrome plated made there way to a few "lucky" collectors.

The model that seems to be eluding me is the KMK 4070 (pink and blue in color) "Star Track" version which came with a special decorated sleeve for the box.

Anyone having photos or information on this model, I would appreciate your help.

he is a German dealer......also contact Steven Downes @ MCW ....he is quite knowledgeable
about model cranes.....there is also a European website that has very good inventories
of photos...maybe one of our forum friends knows the site....I had it bookmarked, but lost the
bookmark when I got a new computer in October........try google.......Krupp KMK 4070 model-silber

Hi all,

This thread has to be read carefully... What Ted is referring to is the following:

A 4070 KMK "Klingenberg"

Various other KMK cranes by Auto Russia including the "Chrome" version and also Lissina, Rass, DK Krempner.

These cranes were all made by Auto Russia, NOT Conrad. The one Ted is searching for has a pink boom, cabs, rims, blue carrier deck and black ballast weights and stabilizers, as shown on the box sleeve.

Bryce,
is there a crane you don't have?? I am in absolute awe of your collection. It never ceases to amaze me and there seems to always be a surprise around the corner. You make me look like a part time collector!! Wink

X 100.

As far I've seen on this forum. Bryce, Paul R and one or to more sirs, have the greatest crane collections in this forum.

At least for me. Bryce and Paul Rose keep my inspiration on collecting cranes. No matter if they are new releases or old releases.

Jose.

The proudly Mexican cookie monster!

It's a diecast thing.You couldn't understand!
