Rowan, Glad you are enjoying this model , it is one of my favorite of all time too . The ripper will just be a single tooth . Wow, that four tooth ripper would pull hard.

Looks amazing Don. I had a chance to meet Leon at the DHS booth. I introduced myself and explained I was one of the forum members. He responded "you ever heard of a guy named Don Campbell?". Thats when he told me he was the one who has been buying most if not all of these models from you. I was amazed. We talked quit a while about the train and the D11. He must have one helluva model collection. To say "I collect Don Cambell models" is definately saying something. Great work.

Todays 1/3rd scale Cat dozer progress picture shows over 1000 hand cut parts on the left side undercarriage and tracks. www.doncampbellmodels.com
I still have a lot to do yet on the left side assembly but this gives a good idea of the rough look .

Absolutely amazing! IMO, this is your best yet. You nailed that track assembly, hope your shoulder feels better soon.

Thanks , my next two projects are the Cat 994F loader and the Towhaul. I decided I better build those in 1/4 scale and not 1/3rd scale. They will be two more awesome projects . The D-11R is going to be my favorite , I love it already . Can't wait to see it in the Don Campbell Museum !!

Hi Don, Happy Birthday for the other day, sounds like you had a relaxed afternoon. Those cylinder cradles look very tricky. Hope your enjoying the morals.
