congrats man! Damnit! I want this crane so bad I can taste it. I realize it has been out for a while, but by far my favorite. I am really happy for you. Should compliment your 18000 pretty well Lucky dog! I'd trade my wife for a 16000 in this livery But the red one is pretty nice too. Shawn

Great addition Vinny. Got 2 of them and I'm very satisfied on the details. Not talking on boom winches, in mines, are crap.
Cheers.
Jose.

Thanks guys! The only problem with it was that my a frame winch out of the box didnt even hold up, as soon as i put boom on it it started to give away so I switched that with the winch on the boom, Other than that its great! here are some more photos

"Congrats" on the new crane, I have the 18000 in Aguado livery and it would be very cool if they were to make the 16000 in that livery. May have to make my own, if only I could get the decals.

I just "jumped" a couple lines off there shives to make it harder to move. I was still able to boom up and down, but the boom didn't run.

the problem im having is the two rear lines at a certain poin both are tight but when i boom up or down one gets real loose and jumps off the shieves

thats cause you should run the cable from one side and then once you get to the middle point you do the cable the opposite direction and tie it off to the other side of the same drum.... both sides will always be tight then

so one side of the drum will feed the cable and the other side will pick it up ? do you have any pics of it done that way?

no i dont have a picture...... put all the string on one side of the drum, run the string under and then over all the sheaves on one half and then once you get to the middle you will run the string over then under on the other half, then tie off to the other half of the drum..... one half will let out string while the other half takes in string
