i'm not sure this will help but many collectors want a log trailer so i think first gear should make a peterbilt 367 tandem tractor and a evans tandem axel log trailer

I have seen a palfinger log loader on a conrad truck, using that it would be easy enough to build a loggger. I have shorted frames on the 367s and i have done self loaders in 1/64 using a dcp grapple, modified of course and to scracth build a traier would be realitivly easy. Here is a pic of a 1/64 log truck i did. The trick would be if you could only get the palfinger log loader crane seperate, maybe they will someday. Chris

Given the number of logging models released recently, I can't imagine a good log truck is far behind. but it better not be one of those pansy-ass east coast rigs Eric W. How about some of those giant trailers those guys up in Maine use. I noticed on that show they opened a shop to make those. Also noticed that I think that one guy crashed that brand new Mack they bought last year.

The ones I've seen in Pa and NY are straight frame with 4 log bunks on them and the landing gear similar to this one. This trailer pictured looks like it might be for pulp wood which is cut to 8 foot (or shorter) lenths not the lond lumber wood that is 20 to 40 foot lenths. I would also like to see the big trailers like those used by the Peltiers in Maine, those are awesome looking!!
Dain I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!! Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!

How did I miss this post?! Is it too late to put in a vote for this idea? A west coast trailer would of course be preferable, but at this point I wouldn't mind any kind of timber trailer. - Chris
