I really hope I can free up the funds to add this to my collection! I wonder if Peter, Richard or anyone else has liveries in mind yet? Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

That's a mighty fine piece of modeling! What liveries are you thinking about, Rowan? Bug ITW Security

Nice model but a little bit more detail would of made it greater, example the Cylinder pin caps.

I'm a little confused as to weather this PC8000 & the P&H on the other thread are actually production models? if you look closer at these pictures this model looks pretty rough around the edges, check out the wonky thin vent details in the last pic. This looks very much like the pre production model that Steven Downes had on his table at the Spalding model show held over here in the UK a couple of weeks ago. I hope that this isn't the final version of the PC8000.... As for the P&H, (of which Steven also had a pre production model on show) although it looks pretty good in Chuck's blog pics, Steven told me that TWH are NOT yet shipping this model, but are getting pretty close.

A little update, the P&H 4100XPC has started shipping with the first 200 or so now on their way to collectors (I believe those who pre-ordered when the model was first announced should get their models first) The prototype i had on display at Spalding (And displaying tomorrow at the Heavy Equipment Model show) is the first metal sample and has a number of small differences in detail and paint scheme. Modification have been made to the production models now shipping. Steven Miniature Construction World on FacebookMiniature Construction World on Twittersjd@miniature-construction-world.co.uk
