is that an ex John O Neill Scania????
sweet pics, sure beats the "pronunciation" topics that have sprung up of late
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?
... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt
The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Looks like it was a great event! Some tidy looking models there. Would love to have made it but perhaps next year if it is done again.

Great stuff, as the lads said already, this is what the forum needs.. Its been full of rubbish lately, we need the models back! Thanks for the pics, it looks like a good show. Steve your a brave man for bringing your sarens ltm1800 to a model show, such a rare and fragile model. Bet you didn't take your eyes off it for a second The first thing that struck me too when I opened the thread was the scania was an ex J O'Neill, it even has the 'Type R' sticker on the front grill!

Yes it was John O'Neills Before coming to Lancashire it was very good of Kevin Guy [owner] and Keith [driver] to bring it . I also want to thank John [GHM] for bringing the Scania 142 and David Weedon for bringing evening star [ I think it made Krtyens year] Also Dave Streeton [ Cowan motor group for bringing the TGA they added something special to the car park . Could I also say thanks to the "show team" for there efforts Arther your a star . When I came up with this idea it was going to be a small show for a few friends it ended up with 25 displays and 4 heavy haulage tractors in the car park . Thankfully the rain held of and as far as I can tell everyone had a great day. Davids Heavy transport photos.

Hi guys, Just like to second what Dave said about the show, a great day had by all. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and can't wait for the next one and your right Homer, it was a brave thing to do with the 1800 Sarens and did watch it like a hawk, but must say have got every thing home all in one piece no damage at all phew. Once again I would like to thank Dave and all the other guys that took the time and effort in to putting on the show well done Steve.

I'm already planning my next display...I don't want to wheel out the same stuff each time. I can't wait for the next one and I'm not particularly bothered that I missed Ede! This more than made up for it.

I've been waiting to see this ever since it was announced and it looks fantastic!. I think you should perhaps look for a bigger place next year?. Oh, and can any names be put to faces in the overall photo?. Well done, and it's great to see the first fruits of a much needed heavy plant and cranes show in the UK.

Did MCW have the Havator 112, 4100XPC and the new conrad models on display? I read somewhere that he was bringing them to this show. If so, any pics of them? Thanks.
Noel.
