Sincere apologies if these pics have had a run recently but I have not been on the forum for a long time! Got these on email a couple of weeks ago of a bit of an incident in the mines, some damage on the 988, namely the light and wiring by the looks of it, can't say the Mack got out of it as lightly......d'oh!
Cheers

Geez, talk about lopsided. Total devastation vs a busted light.

Solid metal counterweight vs. a paperthin hood. No surprice that the MACK looks like that.

I hope the truck driver was OK after that hit!

cant belive the operator didnt see that bright colored bulldog...or why did the driver try to squeek behind a loader that he probably saw backing up????

Nasty stuff, though the cab doesn't look in too bad shape - anyone know how the driver fared?Think

Back to Cat with that 988

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Yikes. That would have thrown that truck driver around a bit! Hopefully he's alright.
