I doubt they had enough time to torque the frame bolts. Yes, I was at Gerhart's on Saturday. Took Conforti's B87 and my friend Matt's D2 out on Friday night. I didn't see too many people there, but its an easy place to disappear and get lost. -John

What a great looking machine. Will you be bringing in the front end for it as well? Thanks for the pictures. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

Rowan. The boom is here for the machine, it came in right before the house & carbody showed up. Not sure how far they are going to go with putting it together though, as the machine will have to come apart in some way to get it from job to job. -John

Thank you for some wonderful photos. This will give the " New Jersey beam boys" something new to haul.
Hope it has the counterweight removal device as that may all it to still remain semi portable. We over the years have had this breakdown and assembly issue with our big Cat and Hitachi hoes so I understand well what you mentioned.

Great pics, John! Do you happen to know who the lucky new owner might be?
Dump on the edges, the middle will take care of itself. Never look down on ANYONE! Unless it is to lift them up.

We sold off our last rental 385 to Florida a few months back after it returned from lower Manhattan, and they have been keeping at least one of the big girls in the fleet over the past few years. I looked at the specs on this machine today and its loaded. Combined function hydraulics, CW removal, pin grabber, tons of options. 32'10 boom, 18' stick. -John

John, cheers for the update, those boom and stick specs sound like the reach setup. That's a whole lot of digging. I'm guessing you wont see it fully setup as it is ready to travel? The more pictures the better Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

The more pictures the better Rowan. Yes, Reach boom, Long Stick. In 15 years here, I think we have had 1 or 2 ME machines come through the doors. Everything we get is Long and Long. They may wind up putting the boom on the machine here in the yard, not sure, but I doubt that I will see it with the stick on, at least not here. I will try to follow this one when it goes out to work. I will do my best to get some more pictures. We also have a 5110B working in the state right now that I have to go check out. It is equipped with a Jewell boom and a material handling stick, I think they are running it with a clamshell. -John

Very nice shots! Very nice machine. As luck would have it, I saw one for myself today. This new Cat 390D LME was headed north on I-81, not sure of its final destination though.
