Here is a clip of the assembly of Hyundai´s 120ton excavator. Looks pretty neat if you ask me!

Great video, an excellent find. Thanks for posting but ummm... What? Since when have Hyundai produced a 120 ton excavator?! This one missed me by completely. It does look very similar to the Hitachi EX1200 and the Liebherr R9100. I like it, a lot.

I, like Rowan, had no idea that Hyundai had developed the R1200-9 excavator! They have kept very quiet about it! Thanks for posting Tarantula and Rowan.I have tried to search for specs and a brochure on it but have not found a thing. That must be the prototype you posted images of Rowan.

If anyone has a link to any literature or info on the R1200-9 please share it.....will be interesting to see how this new player compares to the R9100,R984C,EX1200-6,PC1250-8SP and the RH40E.

Wow, I haven't heard of it either. It looks awesome to be honest.

Edit: November 2010? I though it was a brand new model? Eh?

I find this machine to be very strange, the video above is uploaded in November 2010, but Hyundai revealed their new 120 ton machine at intermat this Monday.
