They are in the process of building this near a large exchange project in Frisco, TX. I could not see any ID. and of course the local iron workers "no habla". Could anyone tell by this boom head what it might be. They are going to be lifting some monster iron beams pretty high. Any ideas? Appreciate any ideas, Shawn

It looks exactly like the lg 1550 main boom head I think you can find a model number welded on the main chords, but I'm not 100% sure, I've seen parts of a 4100 ringer that said 4100 ringer on them but that could've been the company that did it

Well gentlemen, you are right. It is a Liebherr. I dont have a model yet, but huge new shiny gray "Liebherr" counterweights are arriving by the truckload. I will try to keep you posted. And as for the American cranes, There are so many on this project it is insane. At least 20-25 cranes. All Americans. Except Maxim's AC-650. It is there. Along with this new monster. Busy site for sure.

Hi,
Nice thread, great pictures...
I am going to guess it is the LR 1600 that was at Con-Expo this year. I believe it belongs to "Northwest Crane Services".
