Here are a few photos that I snapped Friday night. This road was milled down a couple weeks ago and now they are re-paving it. I had to go out towards the project area for a graduation party so I swung through on the way "home". Hope you all enjoy the pics,

I will upload some pictures of the Roadtec RX-700 that was being used soon.

That MTV3500 is very nice, would make a nice model in 1:50!!!

Thanks Oakland for the snaps, I never get tired of paving work!!

Also very interesting Ingram pneumatic roller. I like the curtain around the wheels, makes for a better surface!!

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!

Nice shots! That shuttle buggy has quite a few more wheels than the ones I normally see.

Thanks guys expect some more paving pics soon!

Granite fan- this is the only shuttlebuggy that we have locally. It does not require a trailer for highway transport rather it just hooks up to the semi truck and is pulled. Their is a hitch located under the hopper of the buggy, when it gets hooked up the two front axles are lifted off the ground and the three at the back are used for transporting the machine. It's quite an interesting design.
