I visited this project today, the contractor Central Paving Inc. is overlaying just under 20 miles of state highway. Besides all the paving equipment was the nice scenery.... 1.8 inches of asphalt is being layed on top of the old road surface. The paving crew is averaging 2.5 miles a day of new asphalt. One paver is being used on the mainline while the other is being used for pullouts and side street touch up's. I hope you all enjoy the pictures and their will be more to come soon.

Thanks! This is the only contractor in the area with one and one of the few remaining. Many of our counties and cities have switched to newer versions. They are still one of my favorite street sweepers though.
