Just a reminder about the Heavy Equipment Model Show which is approximately one month off.

If you wish to visit, you will be treated to great displays of the sort of things which brought you to this forum - ie Plant, Cranes and Heavy Haulage models.

There will also be some full-size vehicles on display. The venue is bigger and better than last time.

Please note - if you wish to exhibit - tables are filling fast - please return your form and payment to David Weston straight away.

Come on Geraint! You've a month to get your passport and visas sorted to get into deepest Lancashire! Teeth

I ought to add that the show will be MUCH bigger than the one in April pictured above.

My CAT 777 quintuplets wont be ready, give me a year and I'll have them and other stuff on a table up there. It will be a much needed kick in the posterior.

How far is the show from a quarry up that neck of the woods that have old working machines.

That's the one. Might as well kill a flock of birds with a grenade.

The North Wales chapter will be making a big show there this year. Hanger 13 Models will hopefully exhibiting their D9L and 631 scraper combination and Gottwald lowloader. I will have my book for sale along with a few DVDs I have started producing, the first one featuring Scottish Mining Machines.
Looking forward to another good show this yearSmile

Excellent! It would be nice to meet you.

We will have badges to faces can be put to names. I suppose our DHS names should be made obvious too.

The Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel is the venue itself but there's a wedding on the day before. 4 star so will be pricy. There will be B&B's nearby, I'm sure. Any probs, pm me and we'll find somewhere.
