93FAST14 replaces 14 bridges over 12 weekends on Interstate 93 in Medford, MA outside of Boston.

The 55 hour window has basically 3 phases. Demolition, Erection and Finish. While there are multiple phases before, after and in between this is what is seen during the marathon reconstruction from 10PM Friday to 5AM Monday.

During the weekend of June 10-12, 2011 two 3-span concrete and steel interstate bridges, located at a rotary near Salem Street in Medford, carrying 4 lanes of traffic were demolished, removed and the area cleaned and prepped in a time span of about 10 hours.

The 1st two sets you posted were great but this one is absolutely spectacular!

Haven't been out of the house in a while huh?
On EVERY highway in MA (since the end of May) coming and going from VT, to NH, to ME, to RI, to CT there have been those orange lighted signs telling of every weekend of closure on 93........

Something like.. Lane Closures this weekend on I-93 seek alternate route/plan ahead/heavy delays see 93Fast14.com
